For the students who have registered in The Turkish Language Certificate Programme, a password that will enable them to perform electronic operations will be sent to the students’ e-mail addresses, and the log-in account for the Turkish Language Certificate Programme will be created.
The students who have registered in the Turkish Language Certificate Programme can study for the certificate exams by using the Course, Exercises, Homework, T.V. Programmes, Book, Trial Test and Synchronous or Asynchronous Facilitation which are offered in an Internet based environment.
e-Learning Content e-Learning content is presented on the Turkish Language Certificate Programme Portal. You can also access Turkish Language Certificate Programme Portal by clicking on Log-In on the upper menu and access all the e-Learning content by writing your user name and password.

Announcements Announcements section includes the important dates and remindings about the programme. With the help of this section, you can follow the dates and explanations of various events, assignment or similar applications. |
Synchronous and Asynchronous Facilitation Synchronous and Asynchronous facilitation will be carried out by a facilitator assigned for you. Synchronous facilitation will be offered twice a week, one hour each day. Between this time intervals you communicate with your facilitators. Asynchronous facilitation will be carried out via e-mail. Using the facilitation service is important because it will help you improve your speaking and writing skills. The contribution of using synchronous (15%) and asynchronous (15%) facilitation to your overall grade is 30%. |

My Classmates This section is the one in which you can see the other participants and communicate with them. This will enable you to obtain information about the other participants learning Turkish. Trial Tests You can perform this test before your last exam and check your level and improve what you have learned so far. The grades you receive from trial tests intend to inform you about your level and will not be used in the evaluation process. |

Course This section is the part where language skills and expressions are taught. In order to acquire language skills, you must follow the lectures from the beginning and do the exercises. Instructional learning content is presented to the participants, in the e-Courses including lectures supported with videos. Courses have been designed to maximize your interaction with the content using cases and tools suitable to the content in addition to content supported by interactive animations and dramas. While the questions in the e-course are keeping your attention, they also enable you to produce new ideas about the topics. In addition to this you will have the opportunity to evaluate yourself with the unit tests. |
Since only following the courses from beginning to the end is not enough, you must improve what you have learned with the exercises in learning section. There are several questions in the learning section about the subject that has been taught. Each unit has its own learning module. Video In this section the target language skills of the course are presented in a different environment. Dramas that are about the language skills of that course are in the videos as well. The videos include daily expressions that you have learned during the course. The serial movies prepared for each unit will help you improve your skills. |
Book In this section there is a Book including the course content of the course and an Activity Book that contains exercises. Book is an additional material that contains the information in the course in PDF format. If you wish you can print out the book and learn from the published material. Activity Book is an additional material that contains exercises for the course which is also in PDF format. You can have a print-out of the activity book too, and do the exercises on published materials. |

Every week your assignments will be sent by your facilitator. You need to send the assignments to your facilitator via e-mail, by the time that is announced in advance. Assignments are composed of activities that will help you reinforce what you have learned and require you to use listening, reading comprehension, and writing environments. This will enable you to improve your language using what you have learned in your courses. After completing the assignments, you need to send them to your facilitators within the dates that were announced in advance. The weight of the assignments in in your overall grade is 20%. The content of each assignment of each unit will be explained to you in details under the Assignment heading. You can upload the assignments to the website after you finish doing what you have been asked to do. You will get a feed-back after your home work has been evaluated by your facilitator. |
ExamsThe examinations of the Turkish Language Certificate Programme will be carried out in two sessions as written and oral.
Oral exam, will be taken on the day and hour which is in the time interval of Academic Calendar determined by the facilitators and the, written exam will be carried out via the Internet which is stated in the Academic Calendar.
Reading, listening, writing and speaking skills will be evaluated in the oral exam and reading and writing skills will be evaluated in written exam. The weight of the written exam in your overall grade is 20% and the weight of the oral exam in your overall grade is 30%. in your overall grade is 30%.
The results of your exams will be announced on the internet after a week.
